Job Details:
- Provide onsite and virtual psychiatric care primarily for college students across multiple campus settings
- Hybrid role as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) working across Trinity College and University of New Haven
- 100% outpatient psychiatry setting with full-time, weekday-only schedule
- No call required
- Responsibilities include medication management, psychiatric evaluations, and case consultations
- Occasional educational outreach responsibilities included in the role
- Collaborate with an experienced team of clinicians as part of the Campus Care Medical Group service line
- Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial treatment plans
- Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs, including referrals to specialists and care team members
- Provide treatment for problems within the scope of practice and refer appropriately when needed
- Access to continuing medical education, conferences, and specialized training opportunities
- Must hold or be eligible for an unrestricted State of Connecticut medical license
- Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) training required
- New graduates are welcome to apply
