This well-established medical center is a comprehensive inpatient facility serving the Medford community with a robust emergency department handling an annual volume of approximately 37,000 patient visits. The facility offers strong support services including 24-hour access to anesthesia, catheterization lab, general surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, radiology, and laboratory services, along with a Level 3 trauma designation.

Board Certified – Emergency Medicine
Job Details:
- Locum Tenens opportunity covering 4-8 shifts per month for ongoing inpatient emergency medicine coverage
- Must be ABEM or ABOEM Board Certified; non-EM board certifications will not be accepted
- Shift times include day shifts (9am-9pm) and night shifts (11pm-6am, with possible release closer to 7am)
- Night shift coverage is the primary need; providers who will only work day shifts exclusively will not be accepted
- Approximately 16 patient encounters per shift
- Active Oregon medical license required; licensure in OR only
- DEA registration required
- ATLS certification required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3-5 years of residency
- All providers will be contacted for a phone interview with the medical director prior to start
- Estimated credentialing timeframe is approximately 90 days
- Current CV must be uploaded with bid submission
- RFA turnaround expected within 48-72 hours; application turnaround within approximately 5 days
- Target orientation date on or around November 10th, dependent on timely completion of privileging
- Start Date: November 1, 2026 – Ongoing
