Job Details:

• Locum Tenens coverage needed with shifts running 7A to 7A (24-hour shifts)
• Anticipated assignment through late December 2026 while permanent physician search is completed
• Must hold an active North Carolina medical license with a clean history
• Board certification required; ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications all required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 3-4 days
• Drive-in candidate preferred; RDU Raleigh Durham International Airport is the nearest airport
• All overtime and callback require notes or MRN documentation
• Perform general surgery on adult patients
• Perform laparoscopic surgery including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and hernioplasty
• Perform breast surgery procedures
• Perform minor orthopedic procedures
• Perform chest tube insertion
• Provide vascular surgery services including vascular access devices

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
