The facility operates with a supportive team structure including a Center Manager, Medical Assistants, Patient Service Associates, and an offsite Supervising Physician available for APPs, ensuring providers have the resources needed to deliver excellent patient care.
Opportunity:
Advanced Practice – Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Urgent Care
Job Details:
- Provider must be local and already reside in the immediate Salisbury, NC area – travel and lodging are not provided
- Must hold an active NC license and an active NC DEA
- Board certification required (BC / NCCPA / NP Boards); BLS certification required
- Minimum of 12 months of experience required; new graduates will not be considered
- Must have experience treating both adult and pediatric patients (6 months and older)
- Must be capable of functioning as the sole provider in the center while managing high patient volumes
- Up to 40 patient encounters per shift with an average of 45 patients per day at this location
- Responsible for urgent care cases including laceration repair, ear irrigation, and other minor procedures
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR is required; modified EMR training will be provided
- Provider must complete mandatory onboarding and EMR training, which occurs on set Wednesdays, prior to first solo shift
- Must pass a clinical screening/interview before being scheduled
- Credentialing is handled by the agency; the facility will process Medicare Enrollment only
- Estimated credentialing timeframe is approximately 20 days
- No call requirements; supervising physician provided offsite for locum APPs
- NC license required to bid; IMLC not applicable
