This well-established hospital provides comprehensive hematology and oncology services to the Northern California coastal community. The oncology clinic is conveniently attached to the chemo treatment center and the hospital, offering providers a fully integrated care environment with strong administrative support.
Opportunity:
Advanced Practice – Nurse Practitioner – Hematology Oncology, Physician Assistant – Hematology Oncology
Job Details:
- Provide outpatient hematology/oncology clinic services with 12-14 patient encounters per shift
- Full-time need with clinic schedule Monday through Friday, 8am-12pm and 1pm-5pm
- Minimum of 4 weeks of shifts required per month
- Guaranteed 8 hours per day with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break
- No call required
- Active California medical license required – CA licensed providers only
- Board certified or truly board eligible required
- Active DEA required
- BLS certification required
- Clean file preferred – providers with settlements, DUIs/drug issues, restrictions, terminations, or Medical Board actions are not eligible for temporary privileges
- Two years of current inpatient hospital clinical activity in the specialty required for privileging
- Two years of inpatient case logs must be provided to qualify for privileges
- Gaps greater than 3 months in clinical activity must be explained
- Estimated credentialing timeframe is approximately 60 days
- Long-term housing assistance available with a maximum approval of $3,500 per month
- Start date of September 1, 2026 with an ongoing need
Compensation:
