Facility:
This is a Level 1 trauma center offering comprehensive cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgical services to the East Texas region. The facility provides a dynamic and fast-paced clinical environment with strong provider support and a well-established cardiac surgery program.

Opportunity:
Advanced Practice (PA) – Physician Assistant – Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery

Job Details:

• Both day and night shifts available: 7a-7p and 7p-7a, 7 days per week
• Rounding in the ICU, managing pre and post-cardiac surgery patients
• Manage patients coming off ventilators
• Care for patients coming out of the OR with open heart, VATS, and lung cases
• Average of 10-15 patients on the service at any given time
• Coverage needed for 2026
• Must hold an active Texas license or IMLC
• Board certification required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 5-7 days

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
