Facility:
This facility is a well-established healthcare organization providing comprehensive oncology and hematology services to the northern California region. The oncology clinic is attached to a chemo treatment center and hospital, supporting a COC accredited program that manages approximately 500 analytic cases each year.

Opportunity:
Physician – Internal Medicine – Hematology and Oncology

Job Details:

• Provide inpatient and outpatient hematology and oncology services with 12-15 patient encounters per shift
• Work schedule includes clinic hours from 8am-12pm and 1pm-5pm with 8 guaranteed hours per day
• Weeknight beeper call and 24-hour weekend beeper call required, rotating 1 out of every 3 weeks
• Phone-only call response required after hours and on weekends – no on-site return required
• Minimum of 4 weeks of shifts required per month
• Active California medical license required – no out-of-state licenses accepted
• Board certified or board eligible within 3-5 years of residency required
• DEA registration required
• BLS certification required
• Must provide two years of inpatient case logs to qualify for hospital privileges
• All gaps greater than 3 months in clinical activity must be explained
• Providers with a clean file may be eligible for temporary privileges for an earlier start date
• Credentialing timeframe is approximately 60-90 days
• Long-term lodging assistance available with a maximum approval of $3,500 per month

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
