The facility operates at a Level 2 trauma designation and supports a wide range of complex surgical specialties.

Opportunity:
Advanced Practice (CRNA) – Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Job Details:

  • On-call beeper shift coverage needed off-site nights (7P-7A, 7 days a week) and day beeper call (7A-7P, Saturday and Sunday only)
  • 2-hour minimum call back requirement if called in
  • Flexible PRN coverage opportunity also available
  • Lodging provided at approved vendor hotel for providers picking up Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights
  • Must hold an active Virginia medical license
  • Board certification required; ABLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
  • Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days
  • Administer general anesthesia for adult, pediatric, and trauma cases
  • Perform spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia
  • Manage obstetrical anesthesia cases
  • Provide neurosurgical anesthesia including head and spine cases
  • Handle thoracic cases (excluding open heart)
  • Manage complex vascular cases (excluding open heart)
  • Provide anesthesia for complex orthopedic cases
  • Implement pain management techniques including post-op epidural and post-op extremity blocks
  • Perform epidural steroid injections for lumbar and cervical regions
  • Perform transforaminal procedures for both lumbar and cervical regions
  • Manage ventilation and evaluation of acute volume and blood pressure issues
  • Perform central line and PA catheter placement
  • CRNA supervision responsibilities required

Compensation:
