This is a leading medical center in Alaska that provides a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient services, including specialized pediatric neurology care. The facility is a Level 2 trauma and pediatric center, offering strong institutional support and a collaborative environment for locum providers.

Physician – Neurology – Child Neurology

Job Details:

• Full-time locum tenens coverage needed as soon as credentialed, with a combination of inpatient, outpatient, and virtual services
• Schedule includes in-person clinic shifts (8:00am – 5:00pm) with weeknight beeper call and 24-hour weekend beeper call coverage
• Two weeks per month of in-person clinic coverage and two weeks per month of virtual hospital call coverage (24 hours a day)
• Seeking candidates who can perform both in-person work and virtual call coverage for continuity of care, or two providers working in tandem to fulfill full-time coverage
• Minimum of 4 weeks per month required with 8 guaranteed hours per day
• Approximately 10 patient encounters per shift
• Board certification required (BC only)
• BLS certification required
• DEA required
• Active Alaska state license required; temporary AK state license or AK Locums License will be considered while full licensure is in process
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
