This medical center is a well-established facility offering comprehensive urological services within a supportive, team-oriented environment. The facility features a fast-paced clinic and call setting with a robust support staff including RNs, a medical assistant, surgery scheduler, and front office personnel, along with access to robotic surgical technology and an Epic EMR system.
Opportunity:
Physician – Urology
Job Details:
- Provide general urology care in a clinic and call setting, serving 20-25 patients per day
- Perform a broad range of urological procedures including Cystoscopy, vasectomies, prostate biopsy, TURP, uroflow/cuff, bladder scans, Ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, Cystectomy, ESWL, and Botox injections
- Handle 20-30 surgical cases per month with robotic surgery equipment available onsite
- Manage clinic hours (8a-4p), night call (5p-8a), and 24-hour call (7a-7a) on a 1:6 rotation
- Provider may take hospital call during clinic hours
- Minimum of 3 months of locum coverage required with 5-6 days of call plus clinic per month
- Must be able to cover approximately 80% of scheduled dates, including weekend call coverage
- Call volume consists of 20% new consults and 80% established patients returning to the ED
- Rounding responsibilities included; hospitalist team present for admissions
- Clinic orientation and tour provided by Clinic Manager prior to start date
- EMR: Epic
- Active Washington State license required (IMLC with LOQ in hand will be considered)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 0-5 years of residency completion) required
- Active BLS and DEA required; ACLS required (candidates willing to obtain if selected will be considered)
- Candidates must detail specific available dates, blackout dates, and number of shifts per month they can offer on an ongoing basis
- Credentialing timeframe is approximately 3 months; all documents must be submitted three weeks prior to start date
Compensation:
