The facility features a 52-bed department with strong support for locum providers, ensuring a collaborative and well-resourced working environment.

Opportunity:
Physician (MD) – Psychiatry

Job Details:

• Provide inpatient psychiatric services with 15 patient encounters per shift
• Must hold an active Kentucky license or IMLC to be considered
• Board certification required; minimum board certification eligible accepted
• BLS certification required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 30 days
• Treat and manage anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, personality disorders, developmental disorders, psychotic disorders, and organic disorders
• Conduct and manage involuntary commitments in accordance with applicable regulations
• Provide and oversee seclusion therapy as clinically appropriate
• Perform restraint application when necessary
• Administer and manage pharmacotherapy for psychiatric conditions
• Facilitate group therapy sessions
• Nearest airport is Lexington, KY with lodging options including Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn, and Airbnb

Compensation:
