Job Details:
- Join an established neurosurgery program at a Level 3 trauma center providing 24/7 neurosurgery call coverage
- Focus on spine surgery with support for interests in complex spine, general intracranial, and basic neurotrauma
- Walk into immediate patient volume with first-year expected caseload of 100+ cases, growing to 200-250 cases once established
- Q3 call schedule supported by mid-level providers
- Block OR time available at the hospital
- Access to advanced surgical technology including Globus Robot for spine surgery, Stealth Navigation with O-arm, Zeiss Kinevo Microscope, and ancillary spine equipment
- Partnership model between ortho-spine and neuro-spine surgeons with a shared PA service between Neurosurgery and Orthopedics
- Position includes two ambulatory clinic locations in Mystic, CT and Norwich, CT
- Mystic clinic location serves as a marquee ambulatory site offering neurosurgery, neuromuscular, pain management, headache, epilepsy, movement disorders, and an infusion center with extensive ancillary services
- Norwich clinic located one mile from the hospital, offering neurosurgery, neuroimmunology, infusion center, headache, epilepsy, stroke, general neurology, and neuromuscular services
- Opportunity to work alongside neurosurgeons and a full-time physician assistant
- Neurosurgery residency required
