This hospital is a well-established community medical center providing comprehensive healthcare services to the surrounding region. The facility features a robust outpatient oncology and chemotherapy program supported by a dedicated team including Hematology/Oncology trained ARNPs and nurses, ensuring a collaborative and well-resourced clinical environment.

Opportunity:
Physician – Hematology Oncology

Job Details:

• Provide direct hospital-based outpatient care serving as chemotherapy program director/provider
• See 15-18 patients per day in an outpatient-only setting with no inpatient admissions
• Handle 1-3 consults per week
• Perform bone marrow biopsies – this is a critical and required skill
• Work Monday through Thursday, with consideration for 3 days per week schedule
• Shift times are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Coverage period is approximately 9-12 months beginning January 1, 2027
• EMR systems utilized are EClinicalWorks (ECW) and Meditech
• Board Certified in Medical Oncology or truly Board Eligible (0-5 years post residency completion) required
• Residency and fellowship completion required
• Active Oregon license required – IMLC accepted; OR license must be obtained during credentialing if not currently held
• BLS certification required
• DEA required during credentialing
• Credentialing timeframe is approximately 30 days after receipt of documents

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
