This is a Level 2 trauma facility featuring 15 operating rooms, 4 endoscopy suites, and services extending to multiple specialty areas. The facility operates under a supervised model and provides a dynamic clinical environment with a strong focus on scheduled surgical cases and ambulatory surgery services.

Opportunity:
Advanced Practice (CRNA) – Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Job Details:

  • Provide anesthesia services in a supervised model at a Level 2 trauma facility with 15 ORs and 4 endo suites
  • Primary need is for scheduled surgical cases; call availability is highly valued
  • Opportunity available for a pediatric-trained CRNA for ENT and other outpatient specialty areas in ambulatory surgery locations
  • Administer general anesthesia for adult patients
  • Manage obstetrical anesthesia cases
  • Perform neurosurgical anesthesia including head and spine cases
  • Provide anesthesia for thoracic cases (excluding open heart)
  • Manage complex vascular cases (excluding open heart)
  • Handle complex orthopedic cases
  • Apply pain management techniques
  • Perform ventilation management
  • Evaluate and manage acute volume and blood pressure issues
  • Perform arterial line placement
  • 4-5 patient encounters per shift
  • ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
  • Board certification required
  • Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days
  • Nearest airport is Duluth; lodging available at the Sheraton
