Physician – Internal Medicine – Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
Job Details:
- Locum Tenens assignment beginning September 1, 2026 on an ongoing basis with an initial commitment of at least 6 months
- Must be able to complete two Monday through Friday stretches each month beginning in September
- Schedule is 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with an unpaid 30-minute lunch break; no call and no holidays
- Approximate caseload mix of 60-70% clinic and 30-40% procedural
- Patient encounters include 12 patients on clinic days and 3-4 patients on lab days
- Procedures include AFib ablations and all EP procedures excluding VT, PVC ablations, and extractions
- At least 2 years of post-fellowship experience as an EP physician required
- Current Epic experience required (within the last 12 months)
- Board certification required; credentialing timeframe is approximately 60 days
- Longer-term candidates only; short-term or single-stretch candidates will not be considered
- Nearest airport is Duluth, with Minneapolis-Saint Paul (MSP) approximately a 2-hour drive away offering additional flight options
- Lodging accommodations available through facility's preferred hotel list
