This regional medical center is a well-established healthcare system serving both Atlantic City and the surrounding Pomona, NJ area across two facilities. The facility operates as a Level 3 trauma center with a strong inpatient surgical program and is equipped with advanced robotic surgical technology to support high-quality gynecological care.

Opportunity:
Physician Assistant (PA) – Surgery – Gynecology

Job Details:

• Locum Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP with RNFA) needed for Gynecology Surgery First Assist coverage across two facilities in Atlantic City and Pomona, NJ
• 6-month coverage assignment due to vacancy
• Inpatient OR setting with a Monday through Friday day shift schedule
• Average of 2-6 gynecological surgeries per day
• Perform robotic gynecological surgical first assist procedures
• Work alongside the supervising surgeon on each case; will not be working autonomously
• Patient population is adult
• Documentation completed via Cerner/Oracle EMR system
• Must hold an active New Jersey state license at time of submission; licensing cannot be pending
• Board Certified PA or RNFA required
• First Assist Certification with Robot required
• BLS, ACLS, and ATLS or ATCN Certifications (AHA) required
• NPDB Self-Query report required at time of presentation (must be pulled within 30 days)
• Estimated credentialing timeframe is 2-3 months
• Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
