Job Details:

  • Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant position within a Urogynecology practice (Urogynecologic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery)
  • Work in collaboration with a physician lead to provide quality care in an outpatient setting, with potential inpatient responsibilities
  • Provide evaluation, treatment, and management of female urinary disorders including urinary incontinence, voiding dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, and other female pelvic disorders
  • Manage conditions including interstitial cystitis, overactive bladder, painful intercourse, fecal incontinence, and defecatory dysfunction
  • Perform clinical skills including catheterization of the bladder, bladder irrigations, and installations
  • Provide admission and discharge orders along with individualized patient care plans
  • Potential to perform cystoscopy in an office setting
  • Position covers up to 3 practice sites, primarily within the East and Hartford Region including Norwich, Waterford, Glastonbury, and Hartford locations
  • Full-time, 40-hour salaried position working Monday through Friday, day shift
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Master's program
  • Must hold an active Connecticut PA or APRN license with national board certification
