This community hospital is a well-established healthcare facility serving the Red Bluff region, providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services. The facility offers strong support staff including a dedicated Medical Assistant and Practice Manager, and operates with the Cerner EMR system to ensure efficient and modern patient care.

Opportunity:
Physician – OB/GYN

Job Details:

• Provide 24-hour on-call coverage for OB and Gynecology ED with no clinic or office patients
• Physicians do not need to remain in-house but must be within a 20-minute response time
• Full scope OB/GYN coverage including deliveries (C-section and vaginal) and gynecological surgeries
• Handle approximately 40 deliveries per month with 16-20 patients per day
• Inpatient and outpatient setting with no NICU on site
• EMR system: Cerner
• Active California medical license required
• Board Certified OB/GYN required (Board Eligible accepted if on staff at another Joint Commission hospital without monitoring)
• Residency or Fellowship in OB/GYN required
• BLS and DEA required during credentialing
• Must have clean malpractice and background history for credentialing
• Must hold active staff status without restrictions, proctoring, or monitoring requirements
• Credentialing timeframe is 30-60 days with emergency privileges available
• Application must be completed within 3 days of confirmation regardless of start date

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
