Physician – Obstetrics and Gynecology

Job Details:

• Locum Tenens coverage with current shift availability beginning Friday, July 24 at 7 AM through Monday, July 27 at 7 AM, with ongoing needs
• 10 patient encounters per shift
• Must hold an active Indiana medical license with a clean background and clean databank
• Must have active CSR and Indiana DEA
• Board certification required; credentialing timeframe approximately 30 days
• Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Laser certification required
• Manage low risk pregnancies with full obstetric care
• FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE
• OB ultrasound performance and interpretation
• Routine deliveries including vaginal and low forceps
• Decision-making for cesarean sections
• Complicated deliveries including C-sections, breech, multiple births, and abruptions
• Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
• Surgical gynecology including open procedures and operative/major laparoscopic procedures such as ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOA's
• Nearest airport is Midway Airport in Chicago; lodging available at Holiday Inn Express – La Porte

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
